Drop a loop. It’s sliced, in time and ready to play.

Drop a loop on LOAF and the setup is done for you: it finds the tempo, checks its own answer, cuts the loop into slices and locks it to your song. Play the slices from your keys or 16 pads, flip a full sample into phrases, chords, vocals and stabs, and let a 16-step pattern with swing play them in time. Hold a move for gates, repeats, tape stops and half time, then drag the pattern into your DAW as MIDI.

Smart tempo: finds the loop's tempo and downbeat when you drop it, checks its own answer, then follows your song
Slices on a grid of bars, on the loop's own hits, or as chops of a full sample, each labelled Phrase, Chord, Vocal or Stab
Smart helpers: every slice labelled kick, snare, hat or tonal, the loop's own groove captured, and ideas for the next steps of your pattern
Up to 64 slices on MIDI keys, and 16 pads on screen
Pitch, level, reverse and choke for every slice, and a slice held past its end keeps looping
Keys mode plays one chop up and down the keyboard, for stabs
A 16-step pattern with swing that drags into your DAW as MIDI
Moves to hold while you play: gate, repeat, tape stop, half and double time, flip and sweep
A small effects chain: texture, filter, bit crush and echo
